By default, PopupFolder is active in the Finder, in all applications (Open and Save dialogs) and in the Apple menu. If you wish to deactivate any of these functions, click the button on the right of the PopupFolder logo in the configuration window. A dialog box appears:
Finder: Deactivate this option if you do not wish PopupFolder to be active in the Finder.
Applications: Deactivate this option if you do not wish PopupFolder to be active in the directory dialog boxes (Open and Save dialogs).
Apple menu: Deactivate this option if you do not wish PopupFolder to be active in the Apple menu.
- Use PopupFolder format: By default, PopupFolder uses the same format for the Apple menu as the one defined in the configuration window. Deactivate this option if you prefer to have the Apple menu displayed in the standard format.
Allow small icons on desktop: To simplify access to all items on the disk, PopupFolder enables you to have more folders and aliases of folders on the desktop by showing small icons. Go to the desktop, select an item, open the View menu and choose by Small Icon. To change to normal icons again, go to the View menu and choose by Icon.
Show start-up icon: Deactivate this option if you do not wish to have the PopupFolder icon displayed at start-up.
